We leave our footprints in the void because we think it is a challenge. That the more nature we take on, the more human we become. The more the wind whips us raw, the more we think we are just that. But in reality, we are the footprints. We will fade with the next snow and Mont Blanc will stand until we have built up so high we can only sneer down at her, our conquest.
